Tuition Car

The Vehicle we currently use for tuition is a modern Fiat Punto Grande. It has fully adjustable seats and steering, air bags, power assisted steering and anti-lock braking system. The car is fitted with dual control pedals too help demonstrate control and so that in the unlikely event we need to help you out braking - we will! It also comes equipped with:

• Manual 5-speed easy shift gearbox
• 1.2-litre petrol engine with high torque which guarantees easier hill starts
• Good all-round visibility during your manoeuvres
• Short wheelbase gives a small turning radius yet the car is roomy and comfortable inside
• Electronic adjustable and heated door mirrors for ease of use and enjoyable driving lessons

We have a strictly 'no smoking' policy during instruction.

For driving tuition in your own car:

Your Drive2Freedom instructor will let you know whether driving tuition in your own car is advisable or not. Additional lessons with a friend or family member can be supportive but may also hinder your progress. Driving lessons with Drive2Freedom in one of our dual controlled driving school cars could be cheaper than the insurance costs for your own car alone.

• Your car must be insured for tuition with a professional driving instructor and for you to drive (please ask your insurance provider)
• We highly recommend taking lessons in our dual controlled car until you reach a reasonable level of confidence before training in your own car
• Magnetic "L" plates available
• Best recommended for foreign licence holders who wish to gain experience in left-hand traffic or who have to take a test in the UK
